Join Us for Our Winter Gathering: Sunday July 26th

Winter is the perfect time to slow down, share ideas, and connect with others, and that’s exactly what we’ll be doing at our Winter Gathering on Sunday 26 July.

Whether you’re a long-time member, new to humanism, or simply curious about our community, this event offers a welcoming opportunity to meet like-minded people, explore ideas, and enjoy meaningful conversations in a relaxed and friendly environment.

The day begins with our ‘Moral Questions’ session, a facilitated “speed networking” experience where participants rotate through a series of engaging discussions centred on ethical and philosophical questions. It’s a fun and inclusive way to hear different perspectives, challenge your thinking, and get to know others in the community.

Following the morning session, we’ll come together for a shared catered lunch, offering time to continue conversations, make new connections, and continue our conversations.

In the afternoon, attendees can choose to participate in HumanARTist, an interactive workshop facilitated by Peter Wingate. Through creative activities and shared reflection, this workshop explores how the arts and creative expression can inspire empathy, curiosity, and humanist values. Please note that this workshop is optional and must be selected during the booking process.

Humanist Society members receive over 40% off the standard ticket price, making membership a great way to stay connected while enjoying discounted events throughout the year.

We Hope to See You There

Whether you’re attending for the conversations, the workshop, or the opportunity for a bite to eat with people you may not otherwise meet, we’d love to welcome you.
