Sarah OGrady

Joyful Multilingual Celebrant

What began as a friend’s cheeky request over champagne has grown into a decade-long passion. After conducting her first bilingual wedding in 2014, she discovered how powerful it is to weave love stories into ceremonies that feel personal and alive.

Now a qualified celebrant recognised among Melbourne’s top names, she offers ceremonies in English and German with a blend of warmth, humour, and care. Drawing on her background in teaching, community development, and international work, she brings a deep appreciation for culture, language, and inclusivity.

A proud queer woman, she delights in celebrating all love stories in their many forms. Whether you imagine something heartfelt, light-hearted, or multilingual, she will guide you through with empathy and joy—ensuring your day is a true reflection of who you are.

The Humanist Society is part of a national and international movement which helps people lead ethical and fulfilled lives free from religion.

We meet and work on stolen lands of the Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander people and respect their sovereignty of those lands which was never ceded. We pay respect to Elders, past and present, and acknowledge the pivotal role that Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander people continue to play within the Australian community.
