Candice Mulcahy

Joyful, heartfelt celebrations

Candice believes weddings should feel like the people at the centre of them: joyful, personal and full of heart. Her ceremonies combine genuine warmth with plenty of laughter, steering well clear of anything overly formal, drawn-out or generic. She takes the time to get to know each couple, including their stories, quirks and particular brand of chaos, then brings those details together in a ceremony that feels unmistakably theirs.

Inclusive and proudly welcoming of couples of all kinds, Candice offers everything from fully personalised wedding ceremonies to short and simple legal weddings for couples who want to get married without the fuss. She provides plenty of support throughout the planning process, helping with vows, ceremony ideas and the practical details so couples can head into their wedding feeling prepared and able to enjoy it.

For couples who want to carry the same energy into the reception, Candice also works as an MC, combining humour and enthusiasm with the practical job of keeping the evening running smoothly. Whether the plan is a big celebration, an intimate gathering or something completely unconventional, her approach is the same: make it meaningful, make it fun and make sure it feels like you.

The Humanist Society is part of a national and international movement which helps people lead ethical and fulfilled lives free from religion.

We meet and work on stolen lands of the Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander people and respect their sovereignty of those lands which was never ceded. We pay respect to Elders, past and present, and acknowledge the pivotal role that Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander people continue to play within the Australian community.
